Membership Benefits
Networking Opportunities
No matter what business or industry you are in the opportunity
to meet other professional women at events sponsored by BPW
throughout the year. Whether you'd like to exchange ideas,
build business leads or find peers in your field, BPW connections
have proved invaluable for many of our members.
Professional Development
BPW offers several opportunities for personal and professional
development. The Individual Development course, usually offered
once per year, offers the opportunity to develop personal
speaking and business skills.
Leadership Opportunities
Business and Professional Women offers a place for a woman
to further her leadership abilities. Our club is lead by officers
that are installed once per year, as well as several committees
directing various aspects of the club. No matter what your
interests there's a committee that you can join and be a part
of our club.
Members can also further their leadership at the state and
national BPW organization level.
Social Events
BPW is a great way to meet other women in our community.
Besides our regular meetings we also sponsor social networking
nights other fun events.
Community Outreach
Many members of BPW of Wichita Falls are active in local
community not for profit organizations. Each month our club
supports a different community
service project. We also enjoy staying informed about
social, government and local issues through programs and announcements
at our meetings.
Our club sponsors a college
scholarship program for women 21 years of age and older
and fund this scholarship through various fundraising programs.
We support the BPW Texas community service areas including
BPW Texas Foundation
and MD Anderson.
BPW Conventions
As a part of a national organization,
BPW members have the opportunity to attend regional, state
and national conferences. These events feature seminars, award
recognition and social networking opportunities.
Women's Issues
BPW supports the advancement of women's causes
including pay equity and women's health issues.
As a member, you have access
to a one-of-a-kind, online library relating to working women's
issues. If you are already a BPW member, click

Annual Policy and Action Conference

every state in the union converge in Washington, D.C. with
one goal in common: a shared interest in making a difference.
You will have the opportunity to network with BPW/USA women
leaders, attend exciting workshops on timely legislative issues,
and find out how you can help create change when you return
home.
Annual Academic Conference
Our annual academic conference
provides provocative ideas and information on subjects that
are central to working women's lives, careers and families.
The conference, which attracts renowned academic leaders,
brings together the best minds in the country to discuss ways
to balance work and family. The conference attracts policy
makers, researchers, employers and employees, union and political
